Ronald Kern - Executive Director

It is Ron’s desire to use his talents and resources to encourage and inspire others on a daily basis, and he loves nothing more than seeing others succeed in their endeavors.  "This is why LIMBitless™ was formed.  I have a strong desire to support our wounded veterans and the adaptive communities, and I know we are making an impact."

 

Ron and Lisa now offer horse therapy, neurofeedback, and polychromatic light therapy for those suffering from trauma.  You can learn more by visiting NeuroBalanced.

They have been married 28 years, have two amazing children, and always strive to be a blessing to others.  Ron and Lisa recently sold their dream home and now live on a 42-acre ranch, Back Forty

Travis Fullmer - President / Board of Directors

Travis has a servants heart and makes a difference to those lucky enough to meet him. He has served on several non-profit boards specializing in community outreach, marketing, fundraising, and outreach. Travis has been involved in sports and outdoor activities he entire life, including 25 years of coaching football, basketball, and track and field at the high school varsity level.

 

His many years of experience is of great value for LIMBitless™ that include marketing, business development, and public relations. If you meet him, you won't forget him, he's a man who has integrity, character, and loves people.

Kevin Falk - Vice President / Board of Directors

Kevin is a Professional Product Designer with extensive years of experience creating award-winning designs for Fortune 500 companies, government, and small businesses.  

 

Kevin has been instrumental in several capacities, including the design of the LIMBitless Challenge, the 3-D topographical trophies in 2017, and much more.

 

Kevin lost his leg in a motorcycle accident in 2009.

Lisa Kern - Treasurer / Board of Directors

Lisa Kern retired from managing the finances of her and Ron’s company as CFO in 2013, when they sold their business to pursue new passions.

 

Lisa has been involved in the fitness industry for over 15 years and has a passion for nutrition and health that she would like to expand to include adaptive athletes. She is currently studying in those fields to increase her knowledge and specialization.

 

Mrs. Kern’s vision includes a facility that provides support, of varying levels, for our wounded veteran and adaptive communities.

Joe Wegley - Secretary / Board of Directors

Joe Wegley is a Physical Therapist with over 15 years experience working with individuals with mobility limitations related to injury or illness.  He specializes in Neurologic Physical Therapy for individuals with spinal cord injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, lower extremity amputations, as well as various other scenarios.

 

Joe appreciates helping others to experience and achieve their goals when it comes to independence and participation in sport.  He has a passion to help people live life to it's fullest.  He enjoys building and supporting an inclusive community that appreciates people of all abilities.

 

Joe lives in Boise with his wife and their three daughters.  

Katelyn Ell - Director - Prosthetics / Research & Development

Katelyn graduated Seattle Pacific University with a B.S. in Exercise Science and started working with adaptive communities as a Spinal Cord Injury/Neuromuscular Exercise Therapist at Pushing Boundaries in Redmond, Washington.

 

After moving to Minnesota and starting an Orthotics and Prosthetics graduate program at Century College & Concordia University, she accented her focus and efforts with product development and custom project designs for Tamarack Habilitations and Technologies in Blaine. Katelyn earned an M.S., summa cum laude, and completed residencies at the Veteran's Hospital in Portland, Oregon and Sawtooth Orthotics & Prosthetics in Boise, Idaho.

As an ABC Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist, Katelyn continues to work with disabled veterans and adaptive individuals in Boise, Idaho. Katelyn has taken a special interest in upper extremity prosthetics and has a passion for creative art design and 3D printing. 

Patti Jones - Board of Directors

Patti has been in the field of accounting for over 35 years. Throughout those years, she has worked in the accounting profession for multiple industries, including insurance services, retail, and construction. Her greatest passion, though, has been the nearly two decades spent in public accounting where her expertise is devoted to the construction trades, professional service companies, and non-profits.

 

Patti's passion to help others aligns perfectly with our mission, and we are pleased she is on our Board of Directors.

Roma Newton - Board of Directors

Ms. Newton brings tremendous experience and knowledge, that benefits our team.

 

Prior to joining LIMBitless, Roma worked within community-based organizations throughout the country to develop programming that reaches at-risk youth. She was directly involved with the prospecting of donor funds, sponsorships, proposal writing and the cultivation of donor relationships.

 

While in New York, Roma served as a full service strategic communications contact and political consultant.

Brandon Connolly - Board of Directors

Brandon has been an amputee since he was 8 months old. This has allowed him the opportunity to be creative in his approach to doing just about everything. As a teenager, he participated for years at Shriners Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City Utah in their adventure sports program. Today he still enjoys hiking, whitewater kayaking, rock climbing, and snowboarding. 

In his professional life, he has worn many faces for different companies. This includes sales, marketing, leadership, and customer service. Brandon currently is working toward his degree in marketing to expand his knowledge in the field he loves. He enjoys working with non-profit organizations around his community in Twin Falls Idaho.
